Cut screw smooth shank screws are designed with a wood-cutting point (T17), allowing them to cut directly into wood without the need for pilot holes in softwood.
For screws sized 3mm to 4mm, no pilot hole is necessary.
These screws are compatible with correctly sized square bits that fit snugly into the screw drive, ensuring:

Additionally, all screws are coated in Class 3 yellow passivation, providing excellent rust resistance.
Usage Instructions:
The Smooth Shank is ideal for joining wood to wood (hard and soft).
The smooth shank part of the screw allows it to spin in the top piece of wood while pulling the bottom piece upwards for a tight joint.
The installation leaves no gaps between the two pieces of wood.
The screw head won’t pull into the top piece of wood.
When using a power tool, make sure the torque is adjusted correctly so the head doesn’t pull into the top piece.
