  • Keep the revolutions per minute low and lubricate the tip of the drill bit to minimize heat.
  • This technique keeps your drill bits functioning at peak performance for longer.
  • The drill bit cuts the metal away. Due to this, the edges mustn’t be blunted by excessive heat and friction.

  • Can be used to drill into wood.
  • To prevent choking caused by sawdust, use a pumping action to keep removing sawdust from the hole being drilled.
